Currently our client a Multinational Oil & Gas Services Company based
in Indonesia is seeking for high qualified candidates to fill the
senior Level position.
Job Title: Manufacturing Manager
Nationality: Expatriate (European, American, Australian)
JOB PURPOSE / ROLE
The Company is committed to excellence through the delivery of high
quality services & technology tools, and dedication to the highest
health and safety standards.
You will contribute to this by coordinating all the activity (people,
equipment, supplies, etc) that takes place within your unit, taking
full responsibility for continuous improvement in line with agreed
objectives.
ROLE VS ORGANIZATION
Direct reporting to the Jakarta Technical Center Manager
Functional reporting to the group New Technology Manufacturing Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1.Manufacturing Planning:
Develop and maintain a rolling yearly manufacturing forecast.
Set target and KPI for local teams, based on delivery commitments.
Provide financial forecasting,
and fixed cost budgets and delivering MCC (Manufacturing Cost
Control) related targets.
Organize interface with engineering and supply chain.
Implement an use Manufacturing IT System
Recruit and retain key employees; participate in their development.
2.Manufacturing Strategy
Help develop and consolidate a network of quality subcontractors in
the Asian area.
Participate in the global thinking on the group manufacturing
strategy.
Propose and plan for key investments.
Organize manufacturing flexibility so as to be able to reconfigure
momentarily the production to support important Company bid with a
time delivery advantage.
Make sure that production, material and maintenance plans for the
unit are being created and communicated in a timely manner.
Liaise and coordinate closely with LBM Manufacturing through the
Group New Technology Manufacturing Manager.
3.Quality Improvement
Making sure that the company safety, quality and environmental
system are being adhered to and that continuous improvement targets
are being achieved.
Develop a continuous improvement culture in the center and provide
practical ways to implement and measure it.
Make sure that the factory keeps its certification (ISO, API,
)
Develop new certification programs fitting with the Company global
goal
Develop quality indicators
Organize efficient after sale product technical support
Develop and document maintenance procedures for products in the
field.
Make sure that manufacturing employees are competent to carry out
the tasks assigned to them.
4.Employee Development
Develop a safety and quality culture in line with the Company
corporate guidelines.
Build a sense of ownership of the company
Make sure the corporate support functions are know about and used
when needed.
Develop a best practice / best performance culture.
Creating a positive working environment by paying careful attention
to act in ways that support / enhance morale and by developing of a
culture of praise, recognition and reward.
Making sure that rules and standards are consistently applied
within the unit, including discipline and performance management.
5.Ensuring Healthy, open and collaborative relationships by;
Leading the development of good working relationships with
employees.
Involving and integrating all the traditional functions into one
effective team.
Using influence to grow your teams capabilities, focusing primarily
on those with specific responsibilities (e.g. team leader,
maintenance, HSQE, etc) and role modeling management via good
personal relationships.
