*Our Client provides Operation and Maintenance service for the power
generation facilities, which is supplying industry and milling operation in
the island of Papua, Indonesia.* *More than fifty diesel generators
installed for the 60 Hz system, with maximum operation capacity at
approximately of 145 Mega Watts and 3 times of 65 Mega Watt Coal Fired power
plant at Port Site.*

*Our Client has also perform operation and maintenance for the 50 Hz
System, which it covers the lowland areas from the airport, Base Camp, LIP,
Kuala Kencana thru to MP 38/39. To support that 50 Hz systems, there are 4
units of generators are available at LIP Power Plant and 5 units of compact
generation are available at Base Camp plant.*

*SENIOR REGULATORY COMPLIANCE*
(Papua)

*Job Purpose :*

Establishes and directs the implementation of company policies and
procedures, provides mentoring and guidance on regulatory matters to ensure
the compliance with all applicable rules and regulatory requirements

*Principle accountabilities : *

-

Prepare written advocacy materials, including comments on proposed
regulations, position papers, correspondence and testimony relating to a
wide range of issues, including power plant permitting, environmental,
health and safety matters, industrial relation affairs, customer matters and
hazardous materials to ensure all matters are being handled and resolved
properly.
-

Liaises and maintain communication and cooperative working relationship
with relevant government institutions representatives and relevant power
industry associations on various regulatory matters to ensure company
operations and practices meet the current government requirements.

Driving the implementation of new power plant rules and regulations at
the company to ensure compliance with the new laws.
-

Provide support to other departments within the company (HR/IR, EHS,
Technical Services and Operations Group) on regulatory and compliance issues
and general business matters to assure minimum impact and maximum benefit
for the company.

Analyzing potential regulatory requirements which affecting the company
policies and procedures, and preparing company's responses to the
appropriate regulatory agencies on those requirements to minimize potential
negative impacts to the company.

Prepares the necessary legal documents application for submissions,
amendments and supplements of power plant permitting in order to obtain the
required permitting from the relevant regulatory agencies.
-

Manages outside counsels and technical consultants on specific matters
such as in industrial dispute matters, law suits against the company in
order to resolve the matters in timely and effective matters.

Monitor the implementation of all internal company policies and
procedures to ensure compliance with the national and local registration
requirements.

*Requirement: *

Possesses S1 degree in law from an accredited law school with minimum 5
years of experience in legal practice and certified in legal practice.

Ability to work with others to achieve consensus is critical
-

Strong verbal communication and writing skills both in Bahasa Indonesia
and English
-

Core competencies and skills in achievement orientation, analytical
thinking, service orientation, safety and environment, cultural sensitivity
and team leadership.
- Have good interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated leadership competency.
- Posses advance knowledge on GOI rules and regulations related to power
utilities permitting.
